The ninth Annual Conference on New Directions in Analyzing Text as Data (Text as Data 2018) was held at the University of Washington, Seattle on September 21-22. QAPS affiliate faculty Brandon Stewart provided discussion, alumna Amanda Kennard presented a poster, and Will Lowe served on the program committee.
