The next QAPS workshop will be on Writing Mathematical Notation Using Overleaf/LaTeX,. This workshop is designed as a supplementary workshop for, but is not exclusive to, POL502 students. Any graduate student concerned with creating mathematical notation for papers and assignments are welcome to attend. The workshop will walk you through:

• Basic LaTeX commands for mathematical notation.
• Cool tricks like converting screenshots or photos of your handwritten math into LaTeX code.
• Speed-writing techniques using the Amsmath package to quickly format complex equations.

Please make sure you have an Overleaf account set up beforehand, and don’t forget to integrate it with your Princeton account to unlock premium features! If you need help setting up your Overleaf account, feel free to drop by Statistical Services beforehand. We are on the 3rd floor in Fisher Hall.
